4.7 touch temp

I was at Red NYC this weekend, there was a 4.7 touch that was on all day mounted to a Raven. It wasn't really that hot but it also wasn't recording. I was wondering if the guys who have had the hot plate 4.7's did they only heat up during recording?

mine doesnt get hot, i was afraid to say, ive had mine for a long time and shot for weeks at a time, and it doesnt get hot, warm yes, like any other monitor, but the tv logic was way hotter then my 4.7.

The metal back of my 4.7 gets really hot, while the panels seems to be okay.

Seems Movcam has an attachable fan.

The fact that this is an issue that even requires a solution blows my mind.

A fan for that is just silly. I have 2 of those monitors and they do get warm. But so do I after working out in the sun. I have used mine in constant extreme heat and they still work fine. Not an issue...

Yeha mine gets hot too, but figured this is normal.

Maybe it's a case of "Build it and they will come... because they think they will need it." '-)

Mine gets a little warm, but far from hot.

I've had accessories that get way, way hotter than the 4.7"
