4.7" Monitor Overheating

This past weekend I had an issue with my 4.7" monitor, where the image on the screen started breaking up, including the UI. I was outside and it was warm and sunny, but the camera itself did not have an issue. What was recorded came out fine, just some out of focus problems due to not being able to really see what I was doing. Has anyone else had issues with this monitor overheating?

Yes. Getting hot is known problem with 4.7" lcd's. I didn't had problems with image braking up on the screen.
Try to lower refresh rate to 30Hz.
