4.7 inch problem

Hi there,

Has anyone experienced problems with the 4.7 inch on the Epic-W? Every now and then I have a diagonal screen tear (I am on firmware 6.3.74) and there now seems to be a permanent pattern on the monitor (looks like white "smudges")... I have confirmed that this pattern definitely isn't been recorded or a sensor / lens issue. I've tried moving the monitor to different ports and the pattern still persists.

I've had the tear a few times, just restarted it and it went away. Never seen the smudges though.

I experienced this as well. Small diagonal mirrored image in the bottom left corner of the monitor. Did a restart and that fixed the problem.

Usually just unplug and re-plug in the monitor and it goes away, happens occasionally, I've never had to reboot

Not very practical to constantly be rebooting the camera (or unplugging and replugging) to fix the monitor...

It's not constant at least for me, sometimes won't happen at all

it happens with both 7 and 4.7. I have both.

I see this issue regularly, but a quick restart is an easy fix. Sometimes flopping between playback and record also fixes it.

Also, early morning note - reading this thread title without context made for a mini-immature laugh this morning.
