How can I record 4:1 Redcode on a Scarlet-w? I see it advertised and on data sheets but I can't get faster than 5:1. I own the newer 480gb mini-mags.

At 25fps and 5K mine goes to 4:1 on the 480 Mini-mag. At 30fps it maxes out at 5:1.

Make sure you already upgraded to the 7.x.x firmware..

It's a 7.0+ feature then? I'm still on 6.3.106.

Yes, on the 7+ firmware the camera is capable of doing much higher bitrate. Unlocking the 4:1 redcode and it can also record 4K ProRes422!
