We're going to be testing a couple configurations for 3D at a studio in Burbank this Sunday, July 5 starting 12:30pm - for a few hours.
We'll be testing 2-3 configurations, two of which are single-camera systems using mirrors for 2 side-by-side images on the 4K sensor. That still will allow for full 1080p with a little play horizontally and a lot of play vertically. The third configuration will be with two parallel Reds - if we can get someone to bring over another Red.
- oh, with the 18-50 lens (as I have.. or with two matching PL lenses I suppose).
We'll be posting in Neo3D (Cineform) and will hopefully have a polarizing monitor there (otherwise we'll go to anaglyph for viewing).
