I want to do a project in 3D. So I would like to know how do you go about it. Are there customised rigs available? Do you shoot with your epic/scalets or with any lesser cameras? Is the editing to be done in some other software? I am a complete newbie as far as 3D is concerned. I would appreciate if you can point me to any resource and share your experiences. I want to keep the cost low with max a week of shooting.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

On the 3D forum here on Red User you'll find many good threads to help you understand 3D production, especially with Red cameras:

You can also find a lot of info on 3D rigs and setups on our Golden Gate 3D web site: http://www.gg3d.com/

There's a lot to learn in 3D, but everyone who works in 3D started learning it at some point. Enjoy the journey!
