CG means computer graphics (i.e. something rendered out of a 3D modelling application). And 'asset' is just a broad term for a piece of media - like a video file, an audio file, a graphic, title and so on.

thank You all for the information

merge?

merge?

If you use the commands that can merge two stereo images into "over-under" or some other stereo format it should be possable to edit 3D for free with my system up to near 8K images (?), I say over-under since there is more resolution range going up and down rather than side-side, so its better to do that at high resolutions, for 2x 2K it does not matter. It would be best to grade somewhat before the merge, but the final grade would be on the stereo pair as one file per frame pair. After editing you can split the images if needed into two single sets depending on what way they will end up projected. The same idea should work for some other editing systems as well?
