3D lenses for Weapon Helium 8K

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on which lenses to use on the Atom rig with Weapon Helium 8K for topside shooting? I don’t think our Angenieux Optimo DP Rouge 16-42 mm lenses will get enough sensor coverage.

For underwater we are considering to use 2 x Leica Summicrron-C 18mm lenses.

I haven't seen any s35 zooms that cover helium on the super wide end. I think you have to jump up to a FF35/VV specific zoom to get full helium coverage...but I could be wrong. Duclos would be the man to ask.

There is a 15mm Summicron-c now as well its super sexy.

The Canon 11-24 covers VV at 7680x4320. At 8192, you need to go to 12mm to not vignette. Used it recently on an UW shoot with VV.

The new Angenieux EZ lenses seem like a good candidate just need to know if they are XY adjustable to line up for beam splitter.

Optimo DP 16-42 won't fully cover the entire 8K sensor area at 16mm. It's close and with a noticeable vignette, you'll be good from 17.5mm-ish onward.

Take a look at the new Sigma zooms.
