Hey guys, does anyone know how this has been done?

Aside from the incessant wobbling its pretty effective - To me it looks like a Gif file with renders at slightly different angles taken and then shifted rapidly between them giving a 3d impression. You could achive the same effect by taking photos at slightly different perspectives and juddering between them (you would only require maybe 3 shots). Get a gif maker program - loads free on the web. Take your pics at 3 or so inches to simulate human vision.

Over the course of a 2 hour movie I suspect it might induce (a) A migrane (b) epilepsy (c) a spree killing.

This is, of course, how RealD amongst other theatrical 3D systems work - albeit switching at 144Hz (mimicking the 72Hz refresh of a standard film projection for each eye). Works pretty well, but only because they work very hard to make sure each eye only sees one image.

Gotcha, thanks for that James.
