Has anyone here heard of any successful 3D projects delivered over the internet? I know Bjork delivered a 3D music video over the net but I didn't have the proper glasses to view it. It looked like the old 50's style green and red technology. I'm seeing a time when high rez visors will be used to deliver Ultra HD over the net. At that point theaters may become way less popular although I think the communal aspects of viewing movies will never die...Peace, Norman

Stereoscopic communication over the internet is the biggest challenge today because of the amount of data that needs to be supported but it will happen and has already with experiments. Live Stereoscopic Events are being discuss for Movie Theatres that are digital. The home/individual users, is where this can really take off using the internet. Multiview Autostereoscopic Displays will be great for this, with a stereo camera. People can have a two way(or more) stereoscopic video chat over the internet. This can be done while at work, home, school, or outside using a laptop or cell phone!
