Hello, just wondering about this issue:
If I have lets say a set of Master primes, or Zeiss Mark series, perfect for the RED 4k (4.5k) sensor, what is going to happen as the sensor gets bigger for the 5k EPIC?..will an 25mm pl mount lens work there as something like a 23mm lens? or will the traditional lens crop the sensor? Im thinking like super 16 lenses do on the Red?
or is this issue irrelevant and a 18mm lens in the RED is a 18mm lens on the EPIC?
thanks!

Matt do you know what is the largest sensor size the superspeeds can cover without vignetting? Don't need exact numbers if you don't have them, but I'm curious if theyll cover the EPIC 5K sensor.

I think there was a discussion about this when the RPPs were released or close to being released and the conclusions were that the Master Primes and RPPS will cover full 5K and other lenses (and by other lenses I refer to Zeiss, maybe the new sets that are coming out this year or the Russian ones will) will cover 4.5K on the Epic and of course full frame lenses like Nikon lenses.
