Hello, I tried searching the forum, but I wasn't able to find any information about the difference between the yet to be released 300mm RED Pro and 300mm RED lens.

Anyone know anything?

The new 300 will match the design of the Red Pimes. No word on any optical differences but there's nothing to complain about with the original. It'[s quite good.

Jarred mentioned that the optical quality would be better. I have the current 300 and love it, so better is just icing on the cake. But if someone wants a 300 right now, I don't think they are going wrong by getting the current one.
