  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

300 Rise of an Empire Trailer #3

It's being shown in 3D and 2D; opening March 7th.

But Jarred might now -it says on IMDB Pro they shot some of the film at Red Studios and shot with the Epic. Certainly possible it was natively shot in 3D rather than one of those nasty post-process 3D features.
 
I'm with Michael & James on this one. Looks like an adolescent hyper-masculine superhero action flick targeted to boys from 13-23. No real story, no real characters and ridiculous feats of strength. 300 was a powerful movie because as much as the filmmakers pushed the envelope, the characters were still human and bled. This looks dumb. Too bad. Also, the environments are so CG that nothing feels real.

Just me I guess longing for more "Gravity" in my movies...but I'll probably rent this one anyway since its shot on Epic.
