Hi,
We are offering up a desk space to rent at our office in Bedstuy, Brooklyn beginning on March 1st. You would be sharing the 600 square foot room (with a 14' ceiling) with 5 other professionals who work in film production (1 woman, 4 guys). The reality, though, is we are rarely ever there at the same time, so there is plenty of room to work and have peace and quiet. We also occasionally use the space for video/photo shoots, and you would be able to do the same. The office is on the 5th floor of a very large industrial building, though a lot of the tenants are now artists or work in creative fields. There is a large loading dock, great mail delivery services, and tight security (cameras everywhere and 24/7 security staff).
We are looking for someone whose work is primarily desk based, and who does not have a ton of things to store. Would be nice if you work in a creative field, but it's certainly not a requirement. This would be a month to month deal, and we would require first and last month's rent, as well as 30 days notice if you want to move on. The only utility we pay for is electricity, but that's never more than a few dollars/person/month.
