Three gorgeous matched Leica R sets just completed at Duclos Lenses and available now. Each is comprised of carefully vetted and "matched" lenses, professionally inspected, serviced for optimal cineuse, cinevised at Duclos and unused since. Known for their cinematic / "filmic" rendering qualities and cover all Red resolutions.

Leica Rs were produced over a 40+ year period. Every few years Leica updated the coatings/colors. While one change to the next was rather subtle, jumping 10 or more years results in drastic color changes, creating major problems in post. For a color-matched set its important to source great lenses all made within a few years of one another (which can take many months/years even). These 3 sets are EXTREMELY well matched and every lens is guaranteed – and all include 2 months warranty covering normal use.

1990s SUMMICRON-R DUCLOS SET (1995–'98)

Very late high quality 1990s Leica R glass with a more modern color palette. Cuts well with Summicron-Cs but with more Red sensor coverage.

Because its been asked the '80s Summilux set can be expanded... for instance to include either a 24/2.8 or 28/2.8 for more wides and a 135/2.8 on the long end. Same goes for the other sets.

The '80s Summilux set has sold and there's a pending sale on the '90s Summicrons.

However the vintage '70s set is still available. Made up of matched cherry-picked lenses recently serviced and perfected for cine-use, and Duclos-cinevised at Duclos (and checked again there too).

Great vintage look of gorgeous well-vetted lenses that took many months to assemble.
