Are you hiring local only?

Yes. LA and Southern California area only. Sets will be at local studios and nearby interior/exterior locations. Thanks. JP

Different look wanted for 3 locations and period of time - past and present. (Also if we accidently kill one DP, we'll have two spares):violin:

....and a good looking woman can make anyone look twice.:sneaky2:

hahahahahahaha

I'll make it easy for you and shoot all 3, or none if you don't like my stuff :yesnod:

P.S. my site has taken a bandwidth hit from the SALT tests and samples everyone is downloading so my home page images are missing. But you can go to the work section and click on individual jobs to view work.

Hi Matt,

I can't get the QT videos to play. Is that the bandwidth problem? Or is there another link for the reels. Thanks. JP

Hey James,
What videos are you trying to play? They should be working. If not I'll send you a link to them.
Best,
Matt

Hi Matt,
I'm finding the grab frame stills for the sci-fi video and others but
not the QTs. Go ahead and send a link on what you have. Thanks. JP

Burp.

A solid script, engaging actors (preferably with some marketing draw) and a decent budget always help. Going into a job, being able to afford decent crew and proper equipment is a huge factor.

Certainly any cinematographer worth his salt shouldbe able to deliver any look you're after, but can you afford one with such skills is the the question. Fast, good or cheap: pick two. You'll never get all three.

Yup. Couldn't agree with you more, Chris.

So far, I have been inundated with some of the most amazingly talented DPs from around the world.
Absolutely killer reels that demonstrate an eye for perfection in the cinematic arts and story telling.

Feel free to throw your hat in the ring. JP

If you don't mind me asking, what are the budgets and basic log lines? Granted we all love to shoot great films but budget plays a huge part in what we can or can't do.
