Dear Red Users,
I am going to be working as a DIT on set this weekend for a short film being shot at 2x desqueezed 6k for a 2k finish on the Dragon :reddevil:. I will be transcoding the Raw footage to 1080p Apple ProRes and I want to make sure that I keep the correct aspect ratio but I don't know the best way to go about it. I was going to use RedCine X but I do have Adobe Media Encoder / DaVinci (not full version) at my disposal. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you for your time!
All the best,
Dom
*****SOLVED****
Using RedCine X:
Select Clip > To the right of the Viewer is a "Framing" Tab > Under "Fit" select correct "width x(Y)" > Export
There may be a better / faster solution. If you know of one please let me know!
Thank you!
All the best,
Dom
