Anyone have experience with this system?

Is everything in the video included?

By far the best dollar for dollar value in filmmaking. The handles are insanely complicated to calibrate, which people misunderstand and leads to 99% of the negative reviews. It has it's shortcomings, but overall a huge leap in quality compared to everything else anywhere near it in price.

Oooo . . . "insanely complicated to calibrate". Sounds like exactly what I don't need in my life ;-)

Does Tilta have a comprehensive tutorial on this subject? If not why not?

EDIT: I just watched a couple vids on the handle cal. What a toothache of an interface this is. Tilta needs to hire them a App developer to get rid of their button pushing crap interface. This should be a smart phone / App process. Worse interface than GoPro . . . did not know that possible. Impressive

They have an easy mode dubbed "EZ mode" which is extremely easy to setup. I bet if they had launched with this mode available and with enough stock, Tilta would have had a MASSIVE success with the product. I will look for the video link explaining the the "EZ mode". Since I upgraded my FW in April/May, the EZ mode has been flawless and made the product setup 1000% better and easier.

For gear like this . . . I am all about EZ Mode ;-)

Any chance this group buy would include accessories that were offered in the group buy, like rod adapters for the hand grips or run/stop cables?

geez, this thread got noisy fast.

this is hands down the bargain of the year. I have an RT Motion and bought the Nucleus-M initially for a backup and find I use it a lot - mostly because I bought the Latitude with RED body integration and don't feel like dropping another thousand bucks to pick up an MK 3.1 receiver and the cables I would need to use it with any camera, on top of the $8K I already spent. I love my RT Motion, but I love this Nucleus-M, too. Nucleus motors are just as strong as the RT Motion, and it runs on any camera without having to fuss with purchasing and keeping track of cables.

My $1500 FIZ has certain advantages over my $8K pro FIZ. The RT Motion is a sweet set-up and is easy to use and works like a champ, nothing glitchy or weird about it, ever.

The RT Motion is a little more user friendly, but for the additional money, I'll educate myself on the Nucleus-M interface.

Nucleus-M handles are also an advantage that the RT Motion requires you spend money to equal.

Put me down for another unit at the 10% level. That's a screaming deal on a workhorse FIZ.

Anyone know if you can hard wire the hand unit to control the motor and be powered externally like the motor? Basically sans batteries? I know the handles do this, but require battery power all the time. I'm just hoping I can mount the hand unit on the side of the cam and use it as I would a manual focus. Thanks!

"Noisy" guy here. This is the video I am referring to:

Top YT comment:
"Whoa, this is WAY too complicated! What the hell?"

Tilta needs to hire an App developer to get a FoolControl style interface for this product line. Then it would be a category killer. As it is, seems like if you use this product every day then you memorize the kabuki dance. If it's used a couple times a month, I would totally need to carry notes by the looks of all the button pushing and dial twisting.

heard too many problems on FB group so far and tinfoil fixes,... to consider this as a reliable unit. DJI focus or RTmotion (depending on the price) for me so far.

The handles with this seem like they'd be a great solution for run 'n gun work. Does anyone have a solution to electronically control iris, other than the red side handle? Adjusting with the LCD is a pain in the ass, and it's definitely a necessity for doc shooting with still glass.

Everything in the list on the opening post is included.

All other accessories and cables will be offered at the 10% discount rate too.
