  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

2K Preview with HDLink Pro

It kinda looks that way... But 2K 4:4:4 RGB is listed as a dual-link HD-SDI output option on the RED techspecs page. I guess we'll know for sure once RED releases all the official tech details on the camera. These may be features that they're currently still working on too.
 
I sure hope so, because 2k on a 30 is going to look so sweet! It'd be a nice thing to have since the taps on 35mm cameras aren't always the greatest. I know that isn't true for everyone's experience, but the taps I've seen (and I haven't seen many) haven't been great. Except of course on Special features on DVDs, then they look amazing, but I've not been that lucky yet.
