2901-3400 on your marks... get set...go

[Esteban Sosnitsky]

Ok. After following the last 2 batches I think its time to set the new thread for this batch. (not only I think its time, I am also a little desperate :w00t: )

Less than a week separates us from September, time our bath to start shipping, and we all have seen the RED team work hard and stick to the schedule nicely. Well done!!!!

Anyone excited? or is it just me:bleh:

[Esteban Sosnitsky]

Soon I will have to change my signature too.. AWESOME.

[Esteban Sosnitsky]

Keep your fingers crossed.

Any news?

I've been waiting for months, and the closer you get...

1st email / "Your RED ONE is nearly ready to ship" email for #2901-#3150 was just blasted so should be hitting your inboxes soon.

Please note that today is a holiday in the US so the RED BOMB SQUAD will be back in the office tomorrow if you have any questions via email or phone.

Thanks,
BC

Got it. Mine has a lot of weird formatting, missing images, strikethrough text. Is this normal?

[José L. Martínez]

Got mine!

[Brent Carter]

I will have our webmaster look into the formatting stuff. Can you send a screenshot of your email to brent - at - red - dot - com so I can see what you are seeing?

I believe there are a few folks who have email clients that:
- lack of CSS support in their email client
- requiring that all CSS uses Inline Styles
- improperly decodes "Quoted-printable" encoded HTML email

If anyone specifically has issues, you can email or PM me or your Bomb Squad rep and we can send you a PDF of your "Nearly Ready to Ship" message.

For future versions, we'll add a plain text section to the top of the message and make the message viewable directly online for those unfortunate enough to use email clients or servers that don't properly handle such messages.

For any email geeks on reduser, the emails go out as a typical "multipart/alternative" message with a utf-8 encoded, "Quoted-printable" text/html content block.

For comparison, Apple email blasts are also typical "multipart/alternative" emails, but they first contain a nice text block, followed by an ISO-8859-1 encoded "quoted-printable" text/html content block.

Best-

-Ryan @ RED
