240GB REDmag - "Media is not a redmag"

Earlier today I rented a 240 gb REDmag from my local rental house. They said it was all new and I proceeded to the location.
When I loaded it onto the Scarlet it gave me an error saying something a long the lines of "Media in Side SSD is not a RedMag - Recording is disabled".

I tried recording however and it went worked. Tried playing it back and that worked as well. Should I be cautious and not use the RedMag or should it be safe?

Running 5.1.38 - could that be the problem?

Found a computer and updated the firmware. Solved the problem. I'll let the thread be her in case someone else runs into this problem!

Same thing just happened to my 240GB.. It is no longer a RedMag and will not mount om my computer either...
Is it defect or is there a known fix for this?

All other cards works fine.

Just got the message from Red that my 240GB has a broken board that needs repair for over $1200!!!
I think it's a bit weak that the hardware in these cards can brake down after just over a year of light use - and not being protected by some kind of warranty...
Oh well, I didn't loose anything important so I'll survive
