2200-2399 Payment / shipping question

Hi,

Just got "The first" e-mail We're in the 2200-2399 batch.

Three questions:

a) I'm a little confused, should we wire the money NOW or wait for the"Second e-mail" to do it - I have no problem either way.

b) To the order seems to be added California sales tax... We are in Europe (sweden)... I'm assuming the salestax should not be there for international shipments, or?

c) Any particular pitfalls of international shipments that we should be aware of?

a) Either or. Remember, order processing within a batch is based on payment date so the sooner you pay, the sooner it will ship.

b) No, only sales tax if you are in US in CA or WA. PM me your serial number so I can look into it.

c) Customs (shiver)...haha. No real issues other that!

JACK! you asked about pitfalls! Here's one.

DO NOT ACCEPT FEDEX'S INITIAL FIGURE FOR TAX CHARGES! They have a moronic system that only allows them to apply one TARIC code across a shipment... which for me was three boxes full of gear that falls under different TARIC codes. So they chose the HIGHEST one (LCD) and applied it across the whole shipment!!! Absolute madness! So I instantly rebuked that and emailed them a list of the contents with their corresponding TARIC codes. In the end, because the MAJORITY of the stuff was import duty exempt I got the ENTIRE shipment duty free.

(still paid VAT of course...)

But it saved me THREE THOUSAND POUNDS!!!

So. Challenge them. Don't be afraid Redusers. They have no idea what they're doing. None at all. They're delivery drones after all.

No they have idea about everything but they ignore it . cause they don't want wast thier time .cause they are not paying anything .:angry03:
So whatever easier for them importing our goods is to rate at higher values
Which make customs very happy .
