  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

hey guys - I shoot a lot in WS format and was wondering what resolution size in 3K, 4K, 5K I Would choose to get a true 21:9 Aspect Ratio?

I'm trying to completely eliminate any letterbox bars being added when I embed my videos on my wordpress pages via a plugin that allows different aspect ratios.

I made this test page here to better show you what I mean. Although i've been able to eliminate most of the letterbox, I'm not able to completely get rid of it. http://www.lamluxe.com/a-test/

Calculate and set appropriate numbers for framing guides, shoot WS (maybe greying out unwanted top and bottom). Then go to Redcine and export using frame guides meta.
Maybe you can have other software to see your frame guides meta. Don't know really
