we shot with #2072 for an imagefilm (company is producing bread and more...)

shot under an appletree in black forest germany.

5 year old lilli acting.

shot with 3K and 50 f/s, red 18-50mm on my brave and old panther dolly

here are some testgradings on macbook pro from set, just testing

yes! brezel. you are right. the girl left set with some more weight ...

don´t know they are the biggest? we are shooting with more models next week, followed by food styling shots and have some shots later this month in the industrial production near to berlin, but they seem to be huge indeed. maybe i should do a new calculation...
all is shot on red. i did some shots last month, but as #2072 was not here i did it with nikon lenses on a ex1, i have to match this stuff later on in the online edit (ex footage looks nice too)

i have made some new gradings of the girl scene, much better than the stuff from set, i will try to upload a few seconds next days.

it´s fantastic what you can get from the raw, the colors of the footage are so nice, looks like a kind of painting. i can grade the material as i was used to grade filmfootage. thanks to lake forest - i salute to jim and his team.

btw - the sun is from munich, it´s an Arri hidden behind the tree  (the day was quite rainy and dark...) and there will be a CGI butterfly in the back in the final commercial.

Great to see pictures from your first job with your own Red. Very nice!
Thank you for sharing!
(Can´t wait anymore).
Marc

thanks marc.

as i can see, you are close to YOUR own :)

well, it is red ...

this is already 16.

no issues at all with it.

here you can see the fill, it´s a sachtler 575 daylight with an orange. we filled the face with it in a very warm and soft way.
ben from the team is preparing here, later on it was on the stand and came more from the top. when we prepared the set we had real sun, so it change when we start shooting and sky was cloudy.
as said the sun is just a 2,5 HMI Arri on a tripod. btw i was surprised to see no purple dot in the direct light. we used only this two lights, not more. i wanted the tree to be partly dark because to have this evening and atmospheric mood.
we only had this one shot on the day so we had time to test a lot with light and how the camera reacts.

it was also planned to have some slight haze or fog in the tree to have more rays, but this was blown away from the wind and it was a run against time as rain and thunder came closer and closer...

now i am looking forward to the styled food-shots with milk and eggs falling into flour ... we have an excellent food designer for this, so it will be fun. i will shoot this with 2K 113 f/s and 3K 50 f/s, i have no drive yet because of backorder, maybe i rent one to have the full 2K 120 f/s and the 60 in 3K.

ups, here is the fill light ...

and admire the pants of the neighbourhood in the back, hahaha.

we went on with our project for DITSCH AG,
we shot some food stuff with red #2072.
the most in 2K and 113 f/s.
i will post some stills at weekend, very nice shots with a great job in critical dynamic range situations (flour stuff etc.).
already dreaming of red with much more frames/second ...:whistling:

here some set pics. more to follow. enjoy your breakfast

some more

i have heavy issues with the server, so no clips possible at the moment. i will show some footage when i have edit a kind of teaser ...

but here are two stills directly from the footage,
hot chocolate on a crossaint, and butter.
my thanks for a nice job to my food-stylist andi.
i like it very much.
more stuff at weekend when i am back from shooting.
both on 2K 113 f/s (waiting still for my red drive for seven more frames)
lense 300mm red.
