Recently had my Noga arm smashed up so I'm looking at a replacement. These are what I'm currently looking at. Any thoughts or suggestions much appreciated ...

Wooden Camera Ultra Arm - $165 to $185 depending on length
https://vimeo.com/182282010
- similar to Ultralight Control Systems style
- cheapest out of the three listed here
- swappable ends (3/8, 1/4, nato, etc)

Bright Tangerine Titan - $250
https://vimeo.com/164003582
- seems the most maneuverable under tension
- reputable build quality
- limited to 3/8 + 1/4 thread size

Matthews Infinity - $300
https://vimeo.com/166264189
- most expensive (not much more than BT Titan)
- strongest out of the three according to specs
- limited swappable ends (3/8, 1/4)

I have the Infinity Arm. It is incredibly strong but also very heavy. Once tightened though I think it would support my camera and lens if it had to. It has other ends also -- I at least recall a hot shoe and a go pro mount. I only have the two you listed though.

Hey Nick,

don't discard too early other solutions...

I actually settled for 15mm rods with clamps and other bits.

Every single axis is controllable selectively, some can even have a little dampening/friction too.

Slow? Yeah, maybe.

Precise? ABSOLUTELY, and it STAYS, no matter what.

Strong? You betcha.

Cheap? Yeah, much cheaper than other solutions, maybe you already have what you need even!

Heavier? No, actually in most cases it's LIGHTER.

Universal, customisable,

Go to Berkeysystems.com

High quality machining (that's the key part) and competitive pricing, highly recommended.

Don't hesitate to PM or email me if you need help choosing the best blocks! ;)

I also still have to get beck to you about some custom cables and the 702 cage...sorry for that.
