2014 Cinematography Showreel

Hey Everyone,

So I just put together a rough cut for my new reel for 2014, last reel was from 2012 and I thought it was about time to update it! Right now the edit is more of a rough assembly to showcase what footage I got and to see what works, and of course what doesn't (I'm also aware that as of now it's a bit lengthy). I'm looking for some constructive criticism/feedback on anyone's thoughts who may be interested. I also decided to not add any footage from my 2012 reel and keep it all current work. The reel consists of footage from Music Videos, Short Films, and a Television Show. Footage was shot on Red Epic and FS700 with a mix of Leica Lenses, Ultra Primes, Elite Anamorphics, and Canon L-series zooms.

Hey Brandon. I think you have some lovely stuff in there and the length wasn't an issue at all for me. The only thing I would say was the music jarred from the first note to the last. That one long orchestral stab thing is like nails down a blackboard for more than 10secs. . The reel itself is lovely

Thanks Ben! I like the song but now I'm curious to hear what other peoples thoughts are about the music. If it seems the general consensus is that it's annoying I will def have to change it.

Beautiful work man, what a portfolio! I found the song a little hard hitting sometimes but was mostly distracted by your awesome shots.
