2013 MacPro partion questions.

Hey everyone! Quick question.

Would it be better to run premiere on mac osx or create a partion on my computer and run windows 7 or 8 (suggestions?).

I believe they run about the same on both OS. Unless if you were planning on playing some games, then OSX should be fine.

I don't have Windows on a nMP to compare directly, but it seems Adobe is starting to do a better job in optimizing for the D700 GPUs with the later releases and there should be an advantage with that and from other software makers moving forward. Premiere, AE, etc.. seem to perform the same between Windows and OSX, or as close as I can tell without dual booting and testing on the same hardware. I would just run the Mac as a Mac.

No Prores on Widows, for me case closed...

There are Pro Res options on Windows now for export. Import and playback already works fine.
