  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Wow, what a game! (Made me forget testing the new MX sensor...did it after the game. Fantastic too!!!)
Such a great german team. No vanity, great players in a fantastic team.
I really hope they will win the championship this time.
Maradona was a very impressive character face. Some people age with grace and a photogenic beauty.

good, more fans are better, i`ll invite all the french, italian, swiss fans to join the german train to the finals.

argentina needs a real coach, i vote for...dont know.
But what about this dude who wanted to force batistuta and redondo to cut their hairs, so they start to look like men?!...hehe
they have the best coaches...

Kaya, you know, I´m swiss, living in France now, but my heart beats for Germany. I really hope Mueller is playing again in this world coup.

right now they play the most entertaining football.
they are young and hungry too (we say hungry, dont know if its the same in english)
 
Germany vs Spain... really hard to say.. it's 35 min into the first half and still no goals with Spain playing better than I expected and Germany fumbling more than I thought they would.... Before the game, I was 100% sure Germany would win. So far, I'm changing my mind... Spain seems that they might get lucky this time!

Having said that, GO GERMANY!

Wow, impressive jump and head work by Puyol who's only about 5' 10"...Goal! Spain wins.
Now it's Holland VS Spain; can't wait to see that. I'm pulling for Holland.
 
Pedro needs to do some soul searching after not giving it to Torres. Nice to see a cordial game! Fantastic team effort from Spain, textbook. Great final coming up, one more name gets added to the list.

(will buy me an orange shirt tomorow - hopefully snijder scores 7 goals in the final plus 4 goals from robben)

edit: spain did play ten times better, they have the better players, better team, better tactical and individual skills.congrats
but i still wish that snijder scores 7 goals :)

Thanks Marc. Usually I think the team will lose, but I thought the same with the match against Brazil:undecided:
Anyways, it will be truely glorious if the Dutch national anthem sounds after a victory over the Spanish, because it is about and from the time when we kicked the Spanish out of the country, a pivotal event that made the Netherlands, a bit like the American revolution made the USA much later.
That said, I think the Spanish are better players, and we shouldn't make too much of history anway. Though no doubt we will exaggerate history over the top if we win :thumbsup:
 
I was sure Germany were going to win. First wrong call I've made in the whole cup. Have been wishing for Spain to turn it on but incidents like Pedro not passing to Torres make me disappointed. Robben too should do a bit of soul searching, could've been like 5-2 if he'd off-loaded the ball.

Bring on the Final!

(Do think I'm going to have post World Cup depression though, not looking forward to that)
