2010 World Cup Thread

good game from the germans, australia had zero chances....although the red card was a hard decision by the referee.
ger 4:0 australia

these vuzuelas are so annoying, i hardly enjoy a game.

I don't get why TV stations aren't filtering it out. It's a very constant frequency and intensity. It seems like it would be easy to separate from the crowd noise. Or just invent some crowd noise.

thereare already some vuvuzela filters out there.
the stupid hbs (productioncompany) who are producing this shit dont want to deliver a minor quality signal.
guess who is the ceo of infront ( the owners of hbs), its blatters nephew.
these fukcing blatters are destroying the main event of the year

arrogance squashed again!!!!!!

arrogance squashed again!!!!!!

Yay! Switzerland beats Spain! WTF just happened? We won?! Heheh... :)
That's what happens with all the "greats" teams that think they can win standing the whole game. Congrats Switzerland!!! you have a tough and resilient team!!!!!

did anyone see that kid "mesut özil" ?
holy ship!!!!!

i love the germans right now.....but switzerland is tha boomb

guess its time to say au revoir to our french friends.
mexico did beat them 2:0
best thing is no more domenech!

(which idiot can leave Benzama at home and henry on the bench?)

Milan Jovanovic's first-half strike earned Serbia a 1-0 victory over a Germany side who lost Miroslav Klose to a red card and saw Lukas Podolski miss a penalty.

Ha ha no any more so called favourite teams in South Africa FIFA World Cup™.

Till now ex-Yugoslavian countries Slovenia and Serbia showed some great plays and players there.

Congrats!

... if the ref had been paying better attention

This is what I love about football (what you call soccer) ... it's not what the camera sees it's what the ref sees.
And it can work for you or against you. That's just how the game is.

Ref said it was for shirt pulling- a bit harsh considering three US players were clearly fouled in the box. Anyway, it was a dive that won the US the free kick in the first place so I guess justice was served.
