  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

When you are planning to blast those emails if there is any this week ?:waaa:
 
maybe the not blasting has to do with the beta style of my account, or maybe it still has to do with the fence sitters.

i am here, ready, decided to get the cam when i put down the deposit.
( i really cant understand the fence sitters.For what are they waiting?)

to the fence sitters: our serial numers are behind yours, ok...
but i know a lot of people in the 2000-2400 batch already paid full...so no fear here, no fence sitting, maybe red should deliver directly to the guys/ladies who know that they really want a red?:shiftyph34r: or if the fence sitters already have a red and cant decide to get the second, or cant fund them, maybe then the line should go forward.


(this is no complaint thing against red, the delay happened partly due to the fence sitters asfai-remember, this fence sitters should start to decide, i want the red, definitly)...

its late here...i am just thinking around.
 
any word on those first emails? This week is pretty much over for me. Though it said emails would go out this week..

My hope is they are just behind cause of the holiday and will blast all the emails for the month 2000-2400 this weekend or Monday. I wish we could understand the delay in the email blast! It is starting to concern me. I have paid in full and made all my arrangements ahead of time to do so like others in my group on the hope that RED's last delay would not happen again and they could possibly beat the current schedule which they said to be quite conservative. If that schedule is so conservative, what gives?
 
I sure had hoped that they would have sent out e-mails in the beginning of july but it seems like RED is constantly banging against the deadlines, having to push them. However - the week hasn't ended yet and I'm sure Brent will stand by his word and we'll hear more from him either today or tomorrow.

It'll take some serious a**kicking to get the cameras scheduled for july delivery out IN july. I'm planning for the worst - hoping for the best!
 
This is ruining my ability to take a little vacation. I am returning to this thread so many times per day it would probably qualify as an addiction...

i can imagine it has to do with "my account" beta, as they want to handle all next deliveries with this account system.
so i am pretty sure we will see 2001-2200 mail in the coming week, not this weekend.
otherwise a perfect "my account" system will result a faster delivery for the next batches, so this delay can be worth the wait.

nice weekend to all with sun and patience, some cool drinks (some coffee too!! :biggrin: ) and there is one comfort: the day will come
 
Red team is working on build 16 issues and backorders.....i would imagine that all new cameras will be shipping with build 16.......and they will want to resolve those codec errors before sending more and more cameras into the field which could potentially have problems.......so i'll wager there are no emails for at least another week.....
