I have the Alan Gordan one as well as a House of Power, which looks exactly the same as the DFS, probably is. There's no comparison. The AG always slides off the shoulder and has annoying pressure points from the straps. The HOP is super comfortable. Because of its large size, you never have to worry about it sliding off the shoulder, also the surface grips fabric much better. Whenever I do handheld with a Red I use this and WC handgrips. Much lower than anything else and allows you to slide the camera back and forth as well. Also, the AG eventually gets flattened after use.

FYI to all - as House of Power is no more, we've acquired the product and it's identical. We've been selling them for about a year and a half, but recently I was on a job with about 12 camera operators, all asking me where I got mine, so I figured we should stock up and give everyone a good deal in the meantime.
