2 RED RAW Settings on same clip?

Is it possible in FCP X to have two different RED RAW settings on the same r3d? Or do I need to duplicate the file and import it as unique? Ive got a clip that half is overexposed and the other half is underexposed.

I think that is not possible. Make a copy of the file.
