Set of Light is very required thing for shooting.
Of course if you can buy 4 Kinoflo, 2 Arri 2,5, 2 Arri 4, 2 Arri 2 it is good.
But let's try to make universal set of Lighting for around 6K.

Of cource we need Kinoflo for master shot it is the best fill light.
Then of course we need 12x12 Overhead Frame butterfly and a few reflectors for outdoor shooting.

2 Kinoflo are around 2300 usd.
1 Overhead butterfly Avenger is around 1K

But the main and most expensive thing is key light.
We can buy one Arri 1200 for 3K or even 2400 for 4K and we can use it like indoors such as outside and we can make from day 1200 with orange filter tungsten about 690 wt or 1380 wt tungsten with orange filter on Arri 2400.
We will have only 3 fixtures but we can buy the 4th fixture in the future.

But for 3K we can buy 2 Arri T5 kwt.
We will get 5 kwt for indoors or 2 kwt if we insert bulb for 2 kwt and
we can add CTB filter with it and we will get about 1,8 kwt of daylight.
So we can shoot like indoors with tungsten different bulbs 5 kwt or 2 kwt or 1 kwt and
we can shoot indoors or outdoors with CTB filter with daylight of 1,8 kwt.

So what will be the best chose:

1. Take 1 fixture of Arri 1200 or

2. Take 2 fixtures of Arri T5 kwt

Have you considered the power requirements for the 5K's?

In my situation 5K's are not part of a universal lighting kit. I cleaned house and now the largest Tungsten fixture I keep on hand is a 2K, gotta love modern cameras, but then again I'm not working large sets with big budgets. For what I do, I keep a well balanced selection of Tungsten, Fluorescent, HMI, and LED on hand, and then rent if we need larger than a 2K.

But then again, you know yor lighting needs better than we do!

Alexey,

Suggest you close the other thread you started http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?103042-Arri-HMI-vs-Arri-Tungsten (also yesterday morning).

Although it asked a specific question comparing tungsten versus HMI, this thread fills in more of the entire picture of what you are trying to accomplish.
That could impact some of the responses in the other.
Best information back to you will come with more details as presented here...
