My Rental house told me my Red Dragon Sensor is different that they Red Dragon Sensor , because I tried to use 2 cameras for shoot , one from me another from rental house , however the colour , the ISO sensive is different(OLPF is same), they said my Red dragon sensor is first generation sensor ,it's ture ????

Hm, that sounds weird.

You list Epic-M. MX and Dragon is indeed very different (sorry for even suggesting that that is the issue), but the difference between Epic MX and Epic Dragon are all those you list:

Color and sensitivity.

Could you maybe upload an R3D snapshot from each camera when shot in tandem?

If you were a very early Dragon owner and ignored the physical update to the system that happened in the very early days then it's feasible you have a slightly different setup and calibration. It seems more likely that someone is misunderstanding an OLPF type/calibration though.

Hi Gunlick,
thank you your reply , my one is Epic-M Dragon and Rental house is Epic Dragon, they told me Dragon sensor have a two kind , I don't want believe that but the fact is different between my one and rental house's one ...

Sorry for even suggesting that.
And John is definitely on to something...

I know the prototype Dragon I had was very different from the two I have had since (An early upgraded -X and now an M). haven't had a chance to check for differences between the early X and the later M, as the X took a dive in water under a drone, and was less than responsive before it resurrected as an M...

I wouldnt worry about it. - they might just want you to hire both the cameras from them or they might just be talking nonsense. - even though they say OLPF are the same - it sounds to me like they are talking about the 2 different OLPF (or 3 if you count lowlight v1).

I assume this was checked but if not, were they both running the same firmware and were they both set to the same color science? Perhaps a setting was different. Same OLPF?

Sounds like some misinformation. Only one type of Dragon sensor. My guess is am early calibration or different firmware or OLPF, as has been suggested here.

I have an Epic and a Scarlet, both dragons. I use them together all the time and they match perfectly. Are there any changes in the setting on any of the cameras you are using? One of them might have different settings in contrast, chroma, etc...

To add to the soup:
MX Epics were (in my experience) very individual beasts. The Dragons I have used (my own 2 + the prototype + a few others) have been much more consistent in general IQ matters.
