HELP!!! I just ingested my footage into FCP and after examining the footage I noticed two small green pixels. Anyone know what this is or what can be done to prevent this? Thanks!!!

Hey Jospeh thanks! I'll do that. I have one on my phone but I don't think it'll be seen. I'll post it up later on though. Thanks for the reply!!!

Also try redo-ing the black calibration to see if that gets rid of the pixels.

As in calibrating the black in the image or the actual camera? If so where on the camera? I don't really see it in the EVF or the on board monitor HOWEVER, once the footage is transferred, I see it when I blow it up on the monitor. Thanks again!

Tadeo. Every camera sensor potentially has a defective pixel or two. Black shading/calibration, as well as ensuring a uniform black level, also maps out dead/hot pixels.
This will hopefully stop any future recordings from having the two green pixels.

You will also need a formatted CF card, Red Drive (or SSD) attached to black shade/calibrate.
For detailed instructions consult the Red One manual available for download from Red.com website.

Sometimes it can take two or three tries to map out stubborn defective pixels.
Unfortunately, your existing footage will need some post production fix - but it's not too difficult to repair.
