Post at full height with squeeze? Where did 1556 come from?
Post at full height with squeeze? Where did 1556 come from?
Not sure about the film recorder's options but if you squeeze the 4K frames you get 2048x1713 frames in post which are twice as good as the 2048x856 frames and take half the disk space and process twice as fast as the 4K frames.
Now, 1713 is bigger than 1556 used in film recorders, so the Horz value should not be 2048? but rather 1860x1556 would be the "real" image size in the film recorder?
On another point, why are film recorders 2048x1556 rather than 2048x1536 which is 4:3, are the pixels non square or is the ratio 1.316:1?
