1x1 LED Softboxes

Anyone know of any ?


I've been looking around and the only things i've found are the airbox inflatable boxes (but they dont have a 1x1 panel coming out til December .. and still not sure how big it will be )


Also Chimera makes one ,but its not that big (pretty much the same size as the led's, which is kind of pointless) and it costs $250 bucks.




I'm looking for something in the $50-$150 range that would turn my 1x1 panel into a 2x2 or 3x3 softbox


I do have some reflector holders and some 5 in 1 reflectors i can shoot through as diffusion or use as a bounce card , but that requires setting up an extra stand ... and loses a good deal of light




Thoughts? ... are there umbrella brackets i could use to adapt my wescott apollo boxes or some of mty brolly boxes?

Most LEDs are nowhere near the brightness you need to deliver the punch a goo tungsten or hmi source gives you in a softbox configuration.

you might want to test with several diffusion levels and distances to see if you'll get the intensity you need before buying a setup.
