I have one RED 512GB MINI-MAG SSD for sale. Works flawlessly. Bought from another Reduser member and decided to sell because it's not getting enough use.

SOLD

Shipping included to US/Cananda.

Before someone asks, there is NO difference between the red colored and black colored versions of the 512GB Mini-Mag. They are both 300MB/s.

PM me.

I've been wanting to get one of these for awhile and it seems like they going rate is around $1600 or less. Also, they just fixed some technical issues with the new red versions of the mini-mags... of course the older ones still work... but why deal with any bugs if you don't have to.

If you could get down to $1700 I would go for it.

Wynn,

which kind of bugs?

RED wrote the cards are absolutely identical, only the enclosure color changed to differentiate these better from the lower specced 120gb and 240gb minimags...

where did you read the black 512s have bugs??

Apparently if you leave the magazine in the weapon and turn it on then it will automatically wipe the card... which is obviously a HUGE problem. There is a forum about it so you can read more. Hopefully RED will fix this soon!

There is absolutely no difference between the RED or BLACK versions of the 512gb Mini-Mag. Nothing was fixed and nothing was corrected.

As far as bugs, there is no mention that the bugs in that specific thread are caused by the mini-mags. It's a very isolated error and RED is still investigating the problem. Could be a firmware issue, could be a camera issue, could be a module issue, or could be an operator issue. Never once in this discussion is the mini-mag to blame.

The RED versions of the mags were released way before this problem even existed, so, how could there be a fix for an issue that didn't exist?

Finally, before I list an item for sale I do my homework and see what the same items have sold for in the last 2 weeks. I'd love to see where one of these have sold for $1,600 or less.

Not trying to be a jerk, but, you kinda did hijack my thread to discuss a problem that may or may not exist about a product I'm trying to sell.

I'm glad there is no connection to the mini-mags and I'm sorry for spreading unconfirmed information. The bug with the RED Weapon erasing mini-mags is indeed real and I read a few forums which were linking that to both the weapon and the mini-mag, but I agree that the Weapon software was to blame and HOPEFULLY RED has already fixed the problem!

Also, the last mini-mag sale I saw was literally for $1650... so you should sell for whatever you can get, but I'm just reporting on what I saw as the last sale I saw. I'm not trying to hurt your sale. Now that the card is definitely not the culprit for any bugs, I think it should sell for around 20% off new like most gear should.

True. Sorry about that. Just to play devil's advocate, this isn't Ebay - we're supposed to be helping each other spread knowledge. I am sorry for helping spread an untrue myth though.

The last one that I sold was for $2,000, BTW and approximately one month ago, with a list of alternate Buyers, at that price.

Thank you very much
