Happy Birthday Red One!

OK everyone. You may now pass out!

Excellent work Jim! I remember when Red first showed up on DVXUSER! Congratulations on making Cinematic History!

Thank you RED team for bringing the future closer to us.... and I'm so proud it's made in America!

Congratulations and more than anything else, thank YOU for building the impossible camera no one said could be made, at a price that made it possible for us mere mortals.

I'm just glad to be a part of this chapter of modern motion picture history.

Raising a drink to you tonight. Truly inspirational.

Paul

Just so you know, I am here at 1:09am with the RED team personally reviewing each camera of the 1st 25. We are calibrating each camera and my job is to check the files in RED Alert! that Jarred is shooting. We are shooting ISO 320, 1000 and 2000. There are about 20 people here getting ready for tomorrow. It really is a memorable night. About a year and a half ago this was just a dream. Tonight the dream has become a reality.

I want to thank all those that believed in RED from the beginning.

Jim

Jim - a whole lot of us want to THANK YOU for letting us ride along on your DREAM so we can chase our own ...

You are an inspiration. Period.

See you in 1.5 hours -

BRAVO!!!

Congratulations Red Team!

Now everyone will lose even more sleep now that Red one is shipping! Looking forward to December 10th when I get mine! The only Red in the entire state of Kansas!
(for a few months anyway!)

What can I add to all that hasn't already been expressed here? Congratulations seem some how inadequate.

Its nice to see perseverance prevail. Watching the development of this project has been a real inspiration to me in many ways.

I offer my deepest thanks for allowing us to observe and in a small way, participate in the process.

Fantastic. Like many people on this forum RED will make the realisation of OUR dreams just that little bit easier.

Things are going to change very quickly from today.

Let the RED DIGITAL IMAGE CAPTURING begin!

Congratulations!

David

This why YOU are a winner. Consistensy, persistence, dedication, and having fun. I have certainly been inspired and learned from this experience. Thanks.

Ronnie

Jim,

You’re welcome to the support and confidence, and thank you. Back in April of 2006 my partner, Bart Harrison, and I were at the AJA booth at NAB looking for Ted Schilowitz. They said he had left to go to work at some start-up company called Red. When we got there Bart recognized the team you had assembled and told me “if these guys are here now, there’s something big going on.” That was an understatement. Since Bart is borderline genius with all things digital I pulled out my credit card. It’s been hard to work with my Cine Alta ever since. I remember almost 30 years ago trying to tweek the registration on a 3 tube video camera and thinking someday someone is going to invent a flat image sensor the size of a 35mm film frame and an electronic camera that doesn’t use film and doesn’t have to be tweeked for half an hour before it can be used. What took you so long!?

Congratulations on a remarkable journey, a fantastic product and a business (and perhaps life) philosophy that should be adopted the world over.

“Really great people make you feel that you, too, can become great.”
Mark Twain.

Thanks to Jim and the RED team - you have given us a dream that we too can become great.

You guys dreamed the impossible dream - and the ripple effect will change the world.

It's an honor to be part of this family.

Aloha,

Keith

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RED!

Congratulations to Jim and his team. A truly inspired effort!

And godspeed to the first 25 cameras. Bring on the fine footage.
