Hi, I am looking to complete a set of FD L super speed primes (24mm FD L, 50mm FD L, 85mm FD L) to approximate a set of K35s.

I am mounting these on an FD mount and require S35 coverage only.

I have a 35mm f1.4 AF Sony/Minolta that apparently is used for the FD-X as a close replacement for the 35mm f1.2 K35 and am okay with its dodgy manual focus, but I no longer have the money for rehousing and have learned it is non-trivial to convert this to an FD mount. Someone mentioned mount swaps – if this is possible (even 3D printed pressure fit without aperture control, as I plan to shoot wide open) I'd be interested.

But it seems like this isn't an option. So what I am looking for are similar coatings and a similar aspherical design to provide onion ring bokeh wide open and matching flares. The 35mm f1.2 Canon is 10 elements in 9 groups I believe, Minolta is 10 in 8 groups and similar construction?

It seems my only options for a 35mm lens that can be adapted to FD mount are: 35mm f1.4 Rokinon (too complex a design, feels modern, less flare), 35mm f1.4 Nikon G (10 elements in 7 groups, less flare, dodgy manual focus, no aperture control), 35mm f1.4 Contax (similar-ish? optical design, but less flare?), 35mm f1.4 Nikon AI (very different look, all spherical, different flare), 30mm f1.4 Sigma EX DG (7 groups 7 elements, aspherical, but coatings are probably not great).

For the 18mm equivalent, I'm looking at Aspherons, wide angle converters, etc. and the 20mm f1.8 Sigma EX DG.

What did Cineovision use in their 35mm f1.4? Nikon or Contax? Thanks. I'm leaning toward whatever they used or a 30mm f1.4 Sigma since it's $120.
