18-50 lens shims

Does anyone know if i have to get specific shims from RED for my 18-50 to be collimated and adjusted correctly for focusing through the zoom range or are they standard items any lens tech would have?

And YES the camera is correctly backfocused.:turned:

I was under the impression that focus shifting during zooming was an aspect of the lens design and could not be shimmed away.

Shouldn't be at all. And if it won't then line up with the focal distance marks it's a pain in the ass for focus pullers. I get the impression from other threads it can be done but i can't fine a definitive answer on the shims. All zooms can be shimmed from my understanding.
