  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

17-50mm RED Pro Zoom...

Note that Imperial versions are the only ones offered for individual sale at this time. (We are wrapping up the backorder on the Metric version of the RED PRO PRIME set).

1 month to order. But those who received their RPP's first should be receiving their 18mm soon after.

I assume they will just email people in the same order they did the RPP's for those that took delivery. I'm sure those who have been renting a 18mm prime this whole time would sure appreciate it.

although I AM holding out, skipping Nehalem (8 core 3.0 GHz sitting next to me) and waiting for the Next Big Box from Apple.

I revived my RED 18-50mm T3 Metric on Dec 23 [FONT=&quot]which I paid $6500 and now it's only $3995 when I asked for price adjustment the bomb squad refuse. The lens still it the original package and not sure what to do. please help[/FONT]
 
Jim, after using a couple of 18-50's for my work, the real test for me in regards to this lens will be how it performs in concert as a stereo pair.
All the variances of the 18-50's have to be tweaked in post. You potentially may have yourself another customer.

We know that. But we mean it's not so complicated for Jim to have this information... So this is information retention and I don't think it's about RED DAY. Few days what for?

They shot the lobster with this lens and use it on a daily basis! But they don't know the coverage?

maybe right now it is covering 4,5k and they try to make it cover 5k?
think positive :)
 
Will the Pro Prime series lenses have the ability to be controlled via red-mote? Zoom, iris, focus etc...
