17-50 question

[Christopher Barrett]

Fed Ex dropped off my new 17-50 today and I have one question... Is anyone using this glass with the Arri MMB-1? The OD of the lens seems slightly larger than the clamp on my Mattebox. I'm wondering if Arri offers a different bolt on clamp that will fit this zoom?

Thanks!

the mmb-1 does fit with the 143mm back which is sold separately or in a kit with the box

It looks a great lens for 3D. I wonder how close matched the lenses are off the shelf.
