Hi all,
I have for sale my very nippy Proavio SAS system, complete with 8 x 2tb Seagate drives (currently in a Raid 5) and an Areca 1880x SAS card (+ cables) which you can install in a tower, or in an external thunderbolt enclosure such as the Sonnet Express SEL. I purchased this unit new from Rentaraid here in the UK.
The system has been utterly reliable, with one failed drive since new. No data was lost with the Raid 5 working perfectly to protect my data. The unit achieves a monstrous 580Mbs read and write.
If you already have your own drives I would be willing to sell it bare too.
Reasonable offers welcomed, located in North London / Herts.
Cheers,
Anthony
