Has anyone used the Lexar 16gb with build 20.1.6? Just want to make sure there are no bugs before I buy.

Lexar 16GB will not offer the same resolution, Redcode and framespeed options as the RED brand 16GB. Previously Red had to make their own faster 16GB cards as even the fastest Lexar 300x cards at the time weren't reliably fast enough.

At the moment RED cameras will not recognise even newer/faster third party cards as being speed verified for the higher resolution/Redcode/framespeed combinations.

To my knowledge, the Lexar 8GB 300x CF is the only non-Red-branded card that remains useable at different resolutions...everything else (including the 16gb from Lexar) gets capped at 2K...right?

I have four Lexar 16GB cards and they work at 4K.
But I just use them when I do interviews in 3K, because at 4K they tend to drop frames every now and then.
So in 4K they can work and in 3K they do work.

We tested Lexar 16G, SD 64G,doesn't work. don't buy them.
Ericyoung, I agree with you, higher resolution/Redcode/framespeed combinations!!!
Don't waste money guys.

Ted said they have to test all of the cards that come in because the cards that come out of these companies don't always perform to the degree that they claim. He said even the ones they get only 30% of them pass reds quality control. So I wouldn't cheep out, get the ones that red has, you know they will work
