16 ultra prime lenses

Can 16 ultra prime lenses be used on Red Epic ? I mean the the 16mm film camera lenses,
what be the difference it will make instead of using 35mm camera lenses and Anamorphic lenses?
is it better use Anamorphic lenses is good or it is as good as get Anamorphic effect done in DI stage?

You can certainly use lenses meant to cover a 16mm image area, but be aware that you'll need to window the sensor to 2K unless you want a porthole vignette where the image circle of the lens fails to cover the sensor. You'll have to decide for yourself if the necessity of shooting at 2K, and the consequences thereof, make using 16mm format lenses worth your while.
