Any thoughts on these recently? Did B16 help with 16:9 or Anamorphic footage support? Does REDrushes work with these?

REDrushes worked fine on my 16x9 footage I did this weekend

In post 16x9 has been fine ... BUT did playback in camera on set today and halfway through the clip it STB and the camera rebooted. LCD came up blue and I hope the files are cool. I'll know in a day or two when the editor reports back.

Cool, thanks for the tip. Good to know that 16X9 is more or less working now. Does it work with sound and in RedCine?

Does anyone know about the Anamorphic setting?

BTW, Looks like so far the files from that setup are fine. They haven't been cut 'n' colored yet, so the final word's not in.

Shot some tests with the Anamorphic setting and they came up fine in the newest RedCine.

Though, the thing about the ANA setting is it's just 16:9. The cropped area in the preview, when you're shooting, gives you you're frame, but when you open up the files in RedCine it will look like you just shot 16:9.

The ANA setting, as it is now, just gives you the proper frame (though it's still squeezed) in the EVF or on the monitor while you shoot.
