  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

16:9 1k in FCP 7 supported?

I cant get unlimited RT , only play base layer... Clips are red, playing in viewer and canvas, but no render capability. Can someone recommend a workflow or point me to some good info please? I know this should be working but it isnt.
 
What is your original R3D format?

I would read all of the R3D files in Clipfinder first, then drag the clips you need to edit at size M (if you shoot in 4K) and size L for 2K. Then those will be 1k proxies to work with.

Then place that to a new sequence then FCP will ask you to match the sequence setting to the clip, so choose yes. That should let you choose unlimited RT and then it will turn orange.
