Hey Kiel,
The shoulder brace as awesome, but the baseplate wiill not work. We purchased one and the hole pattern will not work at all. It is well made, but more suitable for accessories like an audio recorder, shotgun mic support, etc. The Red or Wooden Camera baseplates are the way to go. But, the following items from the eBay company are really nice:
Shoulder pad
Sliding Top Handle (Very nice and really nice to be able to move to accomodate any balance point, unlike the ones that bolt directly to the Scarlet)
Carbon Fiber Rods
Lens support (REALLY Nice - quick release and very well machined)
Cage (Very Sturdy - I have tested carying around 30 lbs of barbell weights and it is rock solid)
I will try to post a few photos later today or tomorrow. The rig looks and feels solid.

nice really liking the look of the build quality/value of that dslr rig and I might pick up that $159 shoulder pad for my rails. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pro-Shoulde...372?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cbef59d3c
But looking at the plate and rod bracket+baseplate http://www.ebay.com/itm/COOLLCD-Tri...595?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a6e157e9b I believe this might be what your referring to? While this is a super cheap option (and looks like it can attach to the Scarlet base), I dont know if it gives the coverage I would like for the bottom of my scarlet.
