Hi everyone,

Can't figure this one out and couldn't find an answer here on the forum either. Is it possible to have 15mm lightweight rods mounted to the back of the quick release platform using the dsmc 15mm adaptor? Will this interfere with the connectors on the back of Scarlet/Epic? I was thinking that I could mount the adapter inverted, but then I couldn't slide the camera on a dovetail, right? The reason for this is that I have a shoulder pad that mounts to 15mm lightweight rods and I would have liked to use that with the Scarlet.

Thanks,

Teemu

It's actually fits perfect, though I used mine specifically to hold power cord in place but you could move it up a bit.

Dumb question perhaps, but I'm having a heck of a time figuring it out.... 15mm LW out the front AND back of the Scarlet/Epic? And how about top 15mm LW rods? Top is probably the most important to me, but I can't seem to find a LW 15mm solution for the top of the camera.

They are working on it as we speak, build it, heck, with what's already on the site and a tactical plate you could rig 15mm rods, or just one depending on what you need.

I'm totally down for building my own deal, and I totally agree with you man! Just looking for the right components :)
